This old yeshica camera was the subject of a true story. It was sucked right  out of a beach house in a freak winter sea storm and then, 7 months later, washed ashore a rocky beach and returned to owner (against odds). It came back with a perfectly distressed patina. It was bitter sweet for the recipient and though I was offered it, I shellacked it, returned it and  elected to paint it as a subject of interest.
